Take a normal breath in.

Just longer out than in.

Name What's Happening​

Your body is in alarm mode.

It feels intense, but it is temporary.

Say quietly in your mind:

“This is uncomfortable, but I am safe”

Let the sensations rise.
They will settle.

Step 5

Stay with this

You don’t need to fix anything.

Stay.

Breathe.

Stay for a minute

That's OK!
